JCOIN Module 3: 10 Essential Elements of Opioid Courts

This module is targeted for all stakeholders working with an Opioid Intervention Court in New York state. Participants will learn about the history of the development of opioid courts in New York and be introduced to the 10 Essential Elements of Opioid Intervention Courts. Judges, court coordinators, district attorneys, defense attorneys, law enforcement personnel, pre-trial service staff, peers, and treatment providers can learn about their role with the court, the structure of the program, and how to better serve opioid court participants through this Module.
*This module is pending accreditation for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit in New York. If you are interested in receiving legal education credit once the course is approved, you'll have the opportunity to request a future certificate at the completion of the module.
